The aim for this summer house in Armenia was to craft an ideal retreat for a dynamic couple—a movie director husband and his wife in high-tech. The goal was to offer them a haven where they could fully disconnect from their daily grind and immerse themselves in modern detached living, all while enjoying breathtaking views of Mount Ararat.
Central to the design is an interior courtyard, which serves as a focal point for the house. This concept seamlessly integrates modern elements into the existing structure, originally built in the 1940s.
The challenge lay in preserving the exterior walls and window openings while infusing new life into the home through updated layout, facade enhancements, and an overall rejuvenated atmosphere.
