The design concept for this modern restaurant aimed to achieve a sense of architectural intrigue through the artful subtraction of one volume from another, creating dynamic spatial contrasts. Within this subtracted space, careful attention was given to the selection of materials, with each surface treated uniquely to add depth and texture to the interior.

Externally, the entire facade is enveloped in cedar wood, unified yet distinguished by variations in staining that add visual interest and character to the building's exterior. This consistent use of material reinforces a sense of cohesion while subtly emphasizing the restaurant's modern yet welcoming aesthetic.

The overarching goal was to maintain a balance between simplicity and elegance, ensuring that the design remains approachable and inviting for visitors. By embracing clean lines, minimalist forms, and thoughtfully curated materials, the restaurant exudes a sense of understated sophistication that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience.
